Bonding & Veneers

Veneers

Veneers are placed on teeth when we want to help improve the shape, size or colour of the teeth. They can be made from porcelain or composite material. Veneers are a thin material and this is often the reason why we would choose them over full crowns.

Veneers cover just the front surface of the tooth and when done carefully it requires very little adjustment of your natural tooth helping to achieve beautiful cosmetic results.

Composite Bonding

Composite bonding is used to conceal imperfections such as chipped, cracked, or discoloured teeth. The material used in bonding is made of a special type of plastic called composite resin. It is a strong material, but not as durable as the porcelain sometimes used in veneers. However, bonding is a less invasive and more economical alternative to dental veneers.
